Great Location

"Prime spot between Canyon Lodge and The Village. The free shuttle is right down the driveway, but we ended up just driving the 2 minutes to Canyon Lodge most days. The wood fireplace kept the whole place toasty warm all night."

THE CONESTOGA CREW

Isabella & Neva — Adopted in Big Pine, CA (2009)

SUMMIT WEDDING: FEB 29, 2008 11,053 FT ELEVATION
OWNER-HOSTED WITH DIRECT CARE

"We got married at 11,053 feet on Mammoth Mountain—and dreamed of opening our own mountain sanctuary ever since."

We live in Laguna Hills, CA, but have been coming to Mammoth together since we met back in 2000. Mammoth has been the backdrop to every defining moment in our lives—including getting married at the 11,053-foot summit on Leap Year Day in 2008!

On our way home from a ski trip in 2009, we stopped in Big Pine and adopted two beautiful rescue pups, Isabella and Neva. For years as dog parents and avid skiers, we struggled with how hard it was to find clean, thoughtfully cared-for, pet-friendly mountain lodging that wasn't overpriced or run-down.

When we acquired Unit 112 at Conestoga, we set out to build the exact basecamp we always wanted: a warm hearth with real wood, an upgraded kitchen where you can actually cook a great meal, a clean dog station right at the front door, and direct doorstep parking so you don't spend your trip hauling heavy gear across ice.

09 // ARRIVAL & GUEST LOGISTICS

Everything You Need to Know.

Clear, transparent guidelines for a seamless high-Sierra stay from arrival to departure.

01 What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Access is 100% contactless via a secure electronic keypad on the front door. Your personal entry code will be provided prior to arrival.
02 Where do we park, especially during snowy winter months?
You have two reserved parking spaces located directly outside the front door of Unit 112. In heavy winter storms, snow clearance teams work quickly to plow the complex lot—please park closely and share space appropriately with neighbors.
03 What is your pet policy for dogs?
We are dog lovers and warmly welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs! We provide an entryway Mud-Buster paw cleaner, dog towels, food and water bowls, and couch covers. We ask that dogs are never left unattended in the condo and that you wipe muddy/snowy paws before entering carpeted areas.
04 Do you provide firewood for the wood stove?
Yes! The hearth is stocked with dry firewood and fire starters for your stay. You also have central heating and ceiling fans for instant temperature control.
05 Is smoking permitted on the property?
No. This is strictly a 100% non-smoking residence (including vape, tobacco, or cannabis) both inside the unit and directly around the entrance.
06 What is the internet speed for remote work?
We provide high-speed Suddenlink cable internet with 250+ Mbps download speeds, easily supporting multiple Zoom/Teams video calls, 4K streaming, and remote file transfers.
07 What are the checkout requirements?
We keep checkout simple: take out your trash to the complex bear-proof dumpster bins, start the dishwasher if full, turn down the heater, and make sure the front door deadbolt is securely locked.
